Dicken is a very experienced and well known actor who has extensive credits in theatre, television and film. On screen he is best known as Duke Woods in "Emmerdale". He has appeared as Geoff Horton in “Coronation Street” (Granada TV), Alan Partridge in “Brookside” (Mersey TV), “At Home With The Braithwaites” (Yorkshire TV), “Doctors” (BBC), “Inspector Morse” (Carlton TV), and the sci-fi cult classics; “Doctor Who” (BBC) and “Blakes 7” (BBC). His features include; “The Revengers Comedies” (Artisan), “Return To Treasure Island” (Disney), “Krull” (Columbia), “Force 10 From Navarone” (AIP), Roman Polanki’s “Tess” (Columbia) and most recently being the voice of Mr Mulch in "Wallace and Gromit, curse of the wererabbit". Dicken has also appeared in many theatre productions with Hull Truck and Northern Broadsides, as well as performing at the Royal Exchange Theatre, The Crucible and Nottingham, West Yorkshire Playhouse and most recently in Middle Ground Theatre Company's 'Billy Liar'.
